Founded as the sister company to The Van Doctor, we saw a growing need for specialist care on Ford cars — especially the increasingly common EcoBoost engines. From 1.0L and 1.5L wet belt issues to full engine diagnostics, we’ve built a service around doing the job properly the first time, every time.

Our founder Kieran launched The Car Doctor after seeing how many customers were either overpaying at dealerships or being let down by generic garages without Ford-specific expertise. He built a team of like-minded technicians — Owen, Connor, and Kyle — each bringing years of dealership training and real-world experience.
We’re based in Blaydon-on-Tyne, sharing a workshop space with The Van Doctor, and equipped to handle everything from 1.0 EcoBoost engines to 2.3 Mustangs.
